My name is Stacey Richards and I started sample Remix in 2007 whilst I was still studying fashion at the University of Lincoln. My main interest in fashion is costuming and bespoke clothing. I relish being able to discover and use new techniques and to take the inspiration for the pieces from all around me. I live in London, one of the UKs mecca's for culture and creativity.
The inspiration for my label comes from wanting to take ideas from all around and to meld them into something new. To resample them. Hence my tagline, resamplin' skins. As a fashion label, my work is generally custom made bespoke pieces for clients and photoshoots, blurring the line behind wearble and high end couture. This gives the work a unique edge, of which I am getting a reputation for.

The best way to describe my work is that it is like wearing a functional piece of art, made, uniquely, for you.
